Some Fulani herdsmen in the early hours of today, allegedly butchered a Hausa boy and shot another dead in Owerri.


According to Facebook user Egeonu Clinton who shared the story online, the Hausa boys guarding a land had earlier warned the herdsmen not to bring their cattles near the land but they allegedly returned with arms and killed the boys. Read below:

It happened at the early hours of today...
Opposite kenittyza plaza umuorii owerri.. Off road safety  road by Toronto round about..
 As Fulani herds men was said to have entered a land where Hausa's are guiding.. They were told not to allow their cattles destroy things... They refused and engaged in a fight with the Hausa boys... After being defeated, they left and came back with guns and machetes...
Shot one dead and butchered the other one while he is sleeping....

Now I  ask... Why are cattle rearers allowed to carry guns but security men left with machetes...

Many people will say, thank God its Hausa's that they killed... Had it been it were in a farm land that belongs to an Igbo man.. The same will happen....

FULANI HERDS MEN... Are now terror to lives... They kills anyone that doesn't grant them access to their farm lands for cattle grazing... No no no... It must stop

A middle aged man popularly known as papa Ebube residing in Aritelin area in yenagoa took his own life by hanging in the early hours on Sunday. According to residents in the area, papa Ebube may have commited suicide because he lost his bet nija ticket that could have earned him thirty six million naira. Documents found in his possession when the police arrived, revealed that, the deseased was a graduate, a tricycle  rider and a great lover of sports whose son is expected to graduate from the Nigerian  military school this year. Neighbour's told our reporter that papa Ebube was a jolly good fellow in the neighborhood, had two wives and two children living with him but left when they constantly suffered domestic violence under his watch Suicide is not an option.
