student of the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State popularly known as Mr HOD, allegedy committed suicide few days ago.



According to reports, the man from Enugu State, called his close friends on Wednesday, to tell them that he was going on a journey of no return before drinking Sniper, a lethal pesticide which has become a popular choice for suicidal Nigerians.

"A student of Anambra federal polytechnic Oko.  popularly known as Mr hod in the  department of public administration, level ND. From Enugu state. Committed suicide two days ago.  According to News in my department, his father died when he is still in secondary school.
 Two nights ago,He drank  sniper and called his close friends to tell them that his going to a journey of no return. Before they came to his Lodge to know what is happening, he has already drank half of the sniper. He gave up before they were able to get him to the hospital. Nobody have any clue his reasons for committing suicide."

MAN TOOK HIS OWN LIFE

A middle aged man popularly known as papa Ebube residing in Aritelin area in yenagoa took his own life by hanging in the early hours on Sunday. According to residents in the area, papa Ebube may have commited suicide because he lost his bet nija ticket that could have earned him thirty six million naira. Documents found in his possession when the police arrived, revealed that, the deseased was a graduate, a tricycle  rider and a great lover of sports whose son is expected to graduate from the Nigerian  military school this year. Neighbour's told our reporter that papa Ebube was a jolly good fellow in the neighborhood, had two wives and two children living with him but left when they constantly suffered domestic violence under his watch Suicide is not an option.
